My Top 5 Christmas Movies

It's day 4 of Blogmas and I figured it was time for a proper festive post and who doesn't love a Christmas movie? For me, the cheesier the better. At this time of year Christmas 24 & Hallmark are my favourite TV channels :) I've got a long list of Christmas movies that I love watching every year that I found it so hard to choose just 5!

Miracle on 34th Street
This was an easy choice. It is my all time favourite. I couldn't even begin to tell you how many times I've watched it but it's guaranteed to put me in the Christmas mood.

Elf
Elf had to make the list! I don't think I've ever met anyone who doesn't love this movie and Will Ferrel is amazing in it. I actually have never seen a movie with him that I haven't loved.

"The best way to spread Christmas cheer, is singing loud for all to hear!"

Home Alone
A classic! I remember watching this the first time as a child and I was so happy when I introduced it to James 2 years ago and he loved it too. His favourite though is Home Alone - Lost in New York. I do like the second one but for me Home Alone definitely wins.

Arthur Christmas
I hadn't actually watched Arthur Christmas until 2 weeks ago. I brought it for James & Emilie for a cozy Saturday evening and watched it with them. It's a proper family Christmas movie and I think I was more enthralled than the kids.

The Santa Clause
This is another movie that I have watched so many times that I've lost count. Every year I re-watch it and never get bored. I tried to watch the original once but I just love this one too much. The second movie is also a favourite of mine but I wasn't much of a fan of the 3rd one. I think by that point, much like Home Alone, it had run it's course.

Now I am totally in the mood to go and binge watch all of these!
What are your favourite festive films?
