Rounding Up 2016!

Every year at the end of December we all talk about how fast the year has gone but I feel like this year has gone exceptionally fast. One minute I'm making my goals for January and the next I'm packing away the Christmas decorations for another year. To be fair we've packed a fair bit into this year, actually a fair bit into the last two months alone, including having a new baby and moving house!

I think 2016 will be remembered for 3 main things. Brexit, Donald Trump & celebrity deaths. There are a few other things I want to remember about this year though so I'm rounding up my favourite posts from the past twelve months. Blogging this year has been a bit hit and miss for me. The motivation is there, the time on the other hand is not. I plan to make more time in 2017 though. I want to get back to how I was blogging in 2015 :)

My favourite post from January is titled My Husband Takes Over My Blog. This got such a great response and it was nice for me to hear things from Anthony's side.

I weighed in on the drama that seems to always surround Breastfeeding by writing Breastfeeding in Public - A Modern Controversy. Not knowing that by the end of the year I'd be tackling breastfeeding again!

I wrote How Do You Know When Enough is Enough?  and then one month later I found out I was expecting Henry. The universe obviously knew what it was doing!

Expecting your first baby? I shared 14 Things I've Discovered Since Becoming A Mum.

I turned 31 *gasp* and shared 31 Things In 31 Years.  You're never too old to learn!

After being diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes I wanted to help other Mum's that are diagnosed too so I wrote Surviving The First Two Weeks with Gestational Diabetes.

And then once I'd gotten to grips with things I shared a Gestational Diabetes Friendly Food Guide.

I love that I have all 3 of my children's birth strories written down and saved forever. Henry made his appearance on the 14th of October and his birth story is here :)

Doesn't every new Mum need a little pick me up? A simple homemade face mask using just two ingredients that you probably already have in your cupboard!

I love going back through my old posts. It's fun to remember things that have happened that sometimes even I've forgotten about! What are your favourite moments from this year?
