Weekend Roundup.

Monday again! The weekend always seems to fly by in the blink of an eye.

We had an unusually busy weekend for this time of year. We had guest most of Saturday and then that  night was fireworks night! Normally we just stay home and watch them from our garden but this year I wanted to be in with the crowds, listening to the music and experiencing the atmosphere. Anthony isn't a fan of fireworks and James hates loud noises and crowds so the boys stayed home and I took Emilie with me. It was her first time seeing them and she was amazed. It was well past her bedtime but she coped really well and managed to stay awake (& happy!). I wasn't so sure of my decision to take her on Sunday morning when I was dealing with an over-tired cranky toddler...

Yesterday was Remembrance Sunday. Anthony went with his family to the parade whilst I stayed with the kids and then we had our nephews birthday party in the afternoon. I think it's correct to say that we've tired the kids out this weekend. To be fair I think the adults are pretty tired out too!

I've spent nearly all of my free time working "behind the scenes" on this little space of mine. It's crazy how you can spend so many hours working and still have so much left to do. I have some exciting ideas floating around in my head at the moment though.

How was your weekend?

Sounds like you have lots of exciting things going on, I'll be sure I check back and read! have a great week X #MarvMondays
