One Pot Pasta.

Pasta.. It's a staple in our house and one thing that I know that everyone will eat. It can get a bit boring and tedious though so when I found this 'One Pot Pasta' dish I couldn't wait to try it. Two things I love about it? It takes ten minutes to prepare and ten minutes to cook.. Also you can use anything that you've got lying around.. Got some carrots that are about to go past their best? Throw them in! Out of onions? Fine, leave them out :)

Here's what I used for mine this week.. It was a hit with my fussy eaters.. 


1 table spoon of olive oil
1 small bag of Tagliatelle
1 can of chopped tomatoes
1 whole Matteson sausage
1 onion - diced
1 tin of peas
1 tin of sweetcorn 
Enough water to cover.
A generous sprinkle of Parmesan cheese at the end. 

1// Heat the oil
2// Add all the ingredients except the water, tomatoes, cheese and pasta. Fry for about two minutes.
3// Add the tomatoes and pasta, then cover with water and bring to the boil,
4// Simmer until the pasta is cooked. Most of the water should be gone but in my case I just drained what was left.. Serve and sprinkle with the Parmesan.

Voila... Enjoy!
