Day Seven - My Current Reading List.

Brave Love Blog

What's on your current reading list? Or what have you read that you recommend?

I love reading so this is one post that I was really looking forward to! I'm looking forward to reading other peoples though because I need some suggestions for new reading material. I get quite sad when I get to the end of a good book. I want to know what else happens after the story has finished. I find myself investing in the characters and their lives.

At the moment I am re-reading Eat Pray Love.

This is one of my favourite books. Maybe because it's a true story or maybe because I love the way that Elizabeth Gilbert writes. I find it to be so inspirational though and I think every woman needs to read this book! After I first read it I brought my Mum a copy for Mothers Day.

Okay, books that I recommend...

Anything by Jodi Picoult! She is my favourite author. Her stories always grip me and I can finish a book written by her in just a couple of days. I haven't found a book by her that I haven't loved. My favourites have to be..

Nineteen Minutes

The Pact

& House Rules.

A book that I have read time and time again is "Francesca's Party" by Patricia Scanlan. I've read quite a few of her books and there are two things that I love. Firstly she is Irish so all her stories are set in Ireland. I've never been there but she sells the country so well! Also her writing isn't too heavy but her story lines are always good!

Another author that I really like is Danielle Steel. Her novel 'Accident' is probably my favourite. I haven't read it for a few years but now sitting here writing this I've remembered how good it is! The next time I'm in the book shop I think I'm going to have to hunt it down! It was one of those books that I couldn't put down. I had to know what was going to happen next.

I could go on and on.... and on.. but I'll leave it there.

I cannot wait to read all of your suggestions!

  1. I Love Jodi Picoult too! And Eat Pray Love is fantastic!
(Have you come across Jo Jo Moyes? I think you'll love her writing! I've only read one of hers but it was so perfect, so breath-taking, I'm 'saving up' her others, pacing myself with them!)

  2. Okay... we're pretty much book twins. Jodi Picoult is my absolute FAVORITE author. My windowsill at home is almost completely full with just her books! I love House Rules, Handle With Care, and The Storyteller. And Eat, Pray, Love is one of my favorites too! Her writing is so beautiful. I just read her new book, The Signature of All Things, and I loved it too. Different from her other books, but so good!

  3. I haven't read any of Jodi's books. I believe I have Sisters Keeper on my Goodreads list. I am adding the others. I loved reading Eat, Pray, Love. I even loved the movie. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for taking the time to read and comment! I read every single message that is left for me and try to respond to everyone :)
