Nuby 'Grip N Sip'

I was not asked to write this review, nor am I being compensated.

Once Emilie turned six months old I tried introducing a sippy cup for water. It didn't go well. I tried another brand, and then another and then another. In the end I gave up and carried on giving her water out of a bottle, whilst still on the hunt for that elusive perfect cup..

Fast forward to two weeks ago when I was in Boots looking for formula and I noticed on their shelf that they had one Nuby 'Grip N Sip' No Spill First Cup leftI thought to myself, why not? We might as well try one more brand. It was cheaper than the previous cups I had tried so I snapped it up and off we went.

Later that morning I filled it with water, gave it to Emilie. She looked at me, looked at the cup, grabbed it with both hands and took a long drink! Success! I think the secret was that all the other cups I had tried had hard spouts. The Nuby Grip N Sip has a soft silicone spout which I think really helped. We haven't had a bottle for water since that morning. In fact I was so impressed with it that later that day I went onto their website and ordered three more cups, including the very cute, Flower Child cup.  I may have also added the next stage cups to my wish list!

So far the cups have done exactly what they state. They don't leak (yay for my carpets!) Emilie doesn't have to over suck to get a good drink though, which I found to be the case with some of James' no spill cups when he was little, thanks to their Touch Flo technology.

{Emilie definitely agrees with me!}
