Five On Friday.

TGIF! The weekend being here does not mean that I won't be awake at 5am with a baby or that I won't be spending my days catching up on the housework and my over flowing laundry basket but it does mean that I can move at a slightly slower pace. Yay!

Today was my Nan's 79th birthday! My sister and I dropped James off at school and then headed over there with the girls, cards, gifts and a birthday cake. The weather was gorgeous and my Nan was happy at being spoilt! I still think of my Nan like she's 60 years old. She has a busier social life than me!

I am in full party planning mode for Emilie's first birthday! My sister is making the cake and yesterday she sent me a photo of the trial cake she made.. It's beautiful! Today, I got to taste test it. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. My sister is one talented lady :) .... Now excuse me whilst I go and cry in the corner whilst I think about my baby turning one...

I rediscovered the awesomeness that is Scrubs! I downloaded the last two seasons on Sky and instead of spending Emilie's nap times cleaning like a good wife & Mum, I've been ploughing my way through the episodes.. Kind of explains why I need to catch up on my housework this weekend...

I am so proud of James and how well he is doing at school. He is bringing home reading books that are well above his age range. There isn't anything that boy cannot read. Apparently it's become a running joke in the classroom that the teacher and other children try and catch James out on maths questions. In just six weeks he is done with his first year at school. It's flown by so quickly that it's kind of scary.

Happy Friday!
