Randomness.

I know technically this should be another post in my Finding Joy In The Everyday series but yesterday I came down with a cold that James kindly decided to share with me. I feel like rubbish. My nose is blocked, my throat is sore, my chest feels like it is about to explode and even my aches have aches. So today, I bring you one of my Randomness posts.. It's about all I can muster up.

Cheddar is settling in well. She seems perfect apart from one problem. She hates other dogs. To the point where last night she dragged me down the street trying to get to another dog.. I don't think she wanted to play with him either.. This is something that we are going to try really hard to work on. I want to be able to take her out for walks without being fearful of her attacking every 4 legged creature that we come across.. I think I'll be watching every episode of the Dog Whisperer that I come across for the foreseeable future.

James has a toy cupboard full of toys.. Instead of playing with these though he much prefers to play with old candles off birthday cakes.

If I had known that it would be this easy to entertain him I wouldn't have paid so much money for all the toys we have.. Hindsight.. It's a wonderful thing.

We've been doing some DIY in the house which is great but it means that the rest of my house looks like a bomb just exploded in it. I had planned for today to be my big cleaning day but this illness seems to have other ideas. I may just have to suck it up and get on with it though because I honestly don't know how much longer I can look at this mess.
