Days 24 & 25. Finding Joy In The Everyday.

The past two days my mood has been very up & down. One minute I am bouncing around like Tigger, filled to the brim with ideas and motivation. The next I am brought back down to earth with a bump. Since James started nursery five weeks ago I don't seem to have enough hours during my day. If I didn't have to sleep then i'd be fine but as I have learnt in the past, this Mummy does not perform well with no sleep.

Yesterday I completely forgot that I was helping my Mum to move house until I got home from doing the school run and there she was waiting for me. I forgot about a bill that needed to be paid. I forgot to call my Nan.. I think that I need to start writing things down..

So my joyful moments from the past chaotic two days?

1. I looked after my friends little girl
and James insisted on pushing her buggy
to school..

2. Having my appointment with my Dietitian today
and making a new eating plan.

3. Even though my eating has sucked for the past three weeks
I haven't lost any weight. In fact I've gained half a kilo :)

4. Catching up on all most of my laundry.

5. Having a few good walks with Cheddar.. Until last night
when she dragged me down the street trying to get to another
dog. She ended up throwing me into a fence. My wrist and ribs did not
appreciate that.

6. Laughing with friends.

“There are moments when I wish I could roll back the clock and take all the sadness away, but I have the feeling that if I did, the joy would be gone as well.”
