Day Eight & Nine - Finding Joy In The Everyday.

I've been trying to log on for two days but for some reason, I don't know if it was my internet or the site, but it wouldn't let me hence my missing post yesterday. For that reason I'm doing days eight and nine together now.

I've always been a 'glass is half full' kind of a girl. In bad situations my automatic response is to immediately focus on the bad, the things that I cannot fix, but through doing this I'm changing my way of thinking. I'm proving to myself that there is always good and joyful moments.

My Joyful Moments

1. Spending a date night with Anthony,
at home but still, time spent together.

{taken seven years ago but I love this photo!}

2. Watching James run into nursery
the past two days, eager to see his teacher.

3. Beautiful Autumn weather,
chilly mornings but sunny.

4. Spending an hour on the phone to my sister,
discussing her plans for her baby's nursery.

5. Finally figuring out how to put my
hair extensions in myself.

6. Dark evenings making me
feel all cozy.

7. Having nothing for dinner tonight
and throwing together an awesome meal
from things I found in the cupboard.

“Be of good cheer. Do not think of today's failures, but of the success that may come tomorrow. You have set yourselves a difficult task, but you will succeed if you persevere; and you will find a joy in overcoming obstacles. Remember, no effort that we make to attain something beautiful is ever lost.”
Helen Keller
