I'm linking up with lowercase letters today for Miscellany Monday. I got the great idea from her this morning to do a month in photos. So here are my favorite photos that sums up March 2012!

I've seen so many people writing about how quick time flies when you have children and it is so true and something that I think about all the time.

When I was pregnant with James I was always being told.. "Enjoy it, it goes so quickly," and honestly? I didn't believe them. I used to think that they were exaggerating and how can it go that quickly.

Now though, I believe every word of it and am constantly telling people the same as I was told. I swear 5 minutes ago I was craddling my newborn baby for the first time.. Now I have a three year old that is walking, running, talking, shouting, throwing tantrums, and telling me that he loves me.

How did it go so quickly?

I am constantly getting asked when I am having another one! The truth is, I don't know. James was a very difficult baby. He had severe acid reflux until he was 13 months old and would vomit an un-countable times a day. He basically spent his first year crying. I don't know if I could go through that again!

If I did have another baby. I would do things so differently this time. I wouldn't be so eager for them to get to the next milestone. With James I was so excited when he learnt to roll over that I wanted him to then sit up. Once he sat by himself, I was excited for him to crawl.. and then walk.. and then talk.. Not that I've wished the baby stage away, it's just next time I would breath it in a little bit more.

  1. So true - I always used to think my mom was being dramatic when she would tell me how fast the time goes but now I completely understand!

  3. I blinked and mind became teenagers. And when they were little everyone said that to me too about enjoying it and the time goes by so fast. It does. But each stage is wonderful and truthfully, I'm not sure I would want to go back and re-do some of those stages. Grateful, just grateful for life and breath. Nice to meet you through MM.
